Fish Tacos

After seeing these images of fish tacos in Sunset Magazine, I really started to miss California. The East Coast just doesn't make it like they do over there. Guess I"ll just have to make them myself! Recipes can be found here.

Bridesmaid Cards

Since I'm pretty obsessed with stationery and making things whenever I can, I decided to make my bridesmaids (my sisters) bridesmaid cards. I had so much fun making these and wish I could take full credit for the idea. I followed Anna's here.

Back in the beginning of July, Brett and I set out to find our wedding venue. For the past two years, we've dreamt about having a wedding in a barn and about two months ago we found our dream barn. After locking down the date early in July, we haven't been back until this past Saturday. After seeing it again and meeting with our venue coordinator, we both left smiling and feeling so excited. Over the next year, I hope to share tidbits here and there of our wedding plans. I was hesitant at first because sometimes I like to keep certain things private or a surprise but now I'm just too excited not to share.

My Weekends

I haven't posted a "My Weekend" in a while so I figured I'd tie in 3 weekends in one. This past weekend we took a lovely day trip up to Hudson. Hope you had a great weekend!
