Introducing Bow & Arrow

After two years in the making, I am very proud to announce my new shop, Bow & Arrow. Ever since designing my sister's wedding stationery back in 2006, I fell in love with designing weddings. For the past few years, my dream has been to open my own stationery shop and now it's finally happened.

I want to send a huge thank you to my amazing husband, Brett, who helped every step of the way. From the design stages, to the photography, to designing the website and for encouraging me when I completely doubted this whole thing. He's helped me through it all and I certainly could not have done it without him. I also want to thank my family and friends who've been behind me 100%.

So to all you brides and grooms out there looking for unique wedding stationery, I'm your gal! You can view the new website here!

P.s. I'll be announcing the new blog at the end of the week...stay tuned!

Vintage Airmail Inspired Save the Dates

Alex and Ana came to me looking for destination themed Save the Dates since their wedding will be taking place in Mexico. We went with the airmail theme. This project was an all around group effort. Brett helped with the design and the envelope borders were screen printed by my talented friend Dave. All 250 save the dates were letterpress printed on beautiful 220lb Crane cardstock - a paper lovers dream! Congratulations to Alex & Ana!

Bklynstitch Lovin'

Brett and I were so excited to see our Save the Dates featured on the Readymade blog yesterday. What made it even better is that we're sandwiched between two of my favorite designers, Indigo Bunting and Rifle Paper Co. It gave us extra motivation to finally start our invitations. Thanks Readymade!

Save the Dates

Seeing that we're both designers, Brett and I wanted to make our Save the Dates. Brett did most of the designing and I did all of the printing and cutting. We used two of the photos from our  engagement shoot. - one as the main part of the save the date and the other for a mini (fake) polaroid. It was a group effort and I think we're both happy with the results. Now on to the invitations...

Bridesmaid Cards

Since I'm pretty obsessed with stationery and making things whenever I can, I decided to make my bridesmaids (my sisters) bridesmaid cards. I had so much fun making these and wish I could take full credit for the idea. I followed Anna's here.

Invitation Inspiration

Creating Christina & Mark's Wedding Invitations

After finding this amazing video on Oh So Beautiful Paper, I'm scared I might try and attempt something a bit nuts when it comes to our wedding invitations. I'm trying to remind myself to just keep it simple but I don't see that happening. Shoot!

Wedding Invitations

It's been a few months since my sister was married but I thought I'd share these anyway. These are her invitations I designed based on her purple themed wedding. My mom did the calligraphy on the envelopes. As a whole they turned out pretty nice.

Save the Dates

One of my sisters is getting married this fall. She let me design her Save the Dates! Here's the outcome. I'll have to take a picture of just a single card so you get a better gist. I think I was proud I was able to mass produce something myself. Thank god for bone folders.
